The Kelley House. This picturesque Healdsburg home for sale, originally designed by the Kelley’s was built and owned by Jane Kelley, the widow of Healdsburg’s only whaling captain, William H. Kelley. The Kelley’s owned the parcel of land just north of Grant Street between Prince and Johnson Streets with their original home, still there at the Johnson Street end of that parcel.
The Queen Anne style Healdsburg home was popular in Healdsburg from 1880-1910 with this being one of the last that has been kept intact with its original millwork, window casings and signature century old glass. The home has all of its straight fir floors that have not been pierced for over a century. The structure itself is built mostly of heart redwood.
